Energy Efficiency Study
Our goal for the energy study of a building under construction or renovation, is to minimize the energy consumption while at the same time keeping the building’s functionality unaffected.
We study and design taking into account the following principles, techniques and methods:
- The bioclimatic design of the building’s shell, in order to be used for planning the surrounding space around it, the available solar radiation for every possible face orientation etc.
- The buildings thermal insulation efficiency, applying the correct thermal insulation on opaque building blocks, avoiding any possible thermal bridges and choosing suitable frames.
- The choice for suitable high performance electromechanical systems to cover the building’s needs for heating, cooling, climate, lighting, sanitary hot water using the least possible non-renewable energy sources.
- Using renewable energy sources like photovoltaic systems, solar water heating systems, geothermal heat pump etc.
- The application of automatic provision operation checks of electromechanical installations in order to limit any unnecessary use.
