The automation system that we suggest offers the ability of central monitor and management; a crucial need to every hotel nowadays. Having the ability to monitor the condition of all electronic devices, lights and clima HVAC at the same time, the hotel becomes more efficient in providing services to its guests.
Through the central management system, we gain access to additional services such as supervising the usage on an individual customer basis as well as the power consumption per room or per hotel area. Welcome Scenario: : When a new arrival checks in, the room enters the “welcome mode”, so the IP TV turns on and welcomes the customer using his/her name. The curtains open wide for a feeling of freshness and the air conditioning system adjusts the room to an ideal temperature.
Check-Out Scenario: On departure, when the customer checks out, the room turns to “check-out mode” which disables all the devices (IPTV, Audio, Lights etc). The air condition turns to eco mode and a notification is automatically sent to the room cleaning staff.

Using the thermostat touch panel, we can control the “Split” type of air conditioning units, used primarily by hotels. It is a relief for the hotel owner/manager to not have to worry for the remote controls anymore while also limiting the customer’s ability to control the temperature.
It also provides the ability to enable function modes, to limit the temperature range and to prepare for the customer arrival through the GRMS central management from the reception desk.
