Re-inspection of Electrical Installations

According to current legislation (Ministerial Decision Φ7.5/1816/88/27.02.2004 «Replacement of in-use regulation about electrical installations with ELOT standard HD 384») and other relevant provisions (ΦΕΚ 470/Β/5.03.2004) and after a transitional period, the ELOT HD 384 standard came into full force from 05/03/2006.

This standard and the relative provisions concern indoor electrical installations. They set the standards that an installation must meet under any circumstances in order to achieve the maximum possible safety of people, animals and devices.

In this context and on the basis of the legislation, the inspection and re-inspection of the internal electrical installations by licensed electrical installers, who also issue the relevant certificate submitted to HEDNO, is defined as mandatory. The inspection of the electrical installation is done with certified high-precision multi-instruments that document its safe and correct operation according to the aforementioned regulations. In addition, the inspection should be carried out at regular intervals depending on the installation.
